I’m James, a keen photographer based in West Yorkshire, UK. I tend to shoot almost exclusively in colour and landscape formats whilst only using natural / provided lighting. As you can see from my work, I love experimenting with high-contrasts and monochrome effects – personally, I feel these can often add a real sense of drama or intrigue to an image.
Whilst live music and event photography make up a majority of my work, I don’t wish to limit or pigeon-hole myself. I’m also passionate about exploring and capturing landscapes, architecture, street, nature and skateboarding photographs.
I’m always open to trying new ideas and techniques, making my photographs tell stories or letting viewers use their imaginations to fill in the blanks.
